They walked out of the room hand in hand and went back into the small room where the other guys were still sitting around talking about God only knows what.
"Well, how did it go?" AJ asked with a smile.
"She'll do fine." Nick smirked.
"Well, show us a little bit then." Brian said turning on a stereo behind him and watched Nick grab onto Kris's waist and turn her around. She moved her hips against him slowly and turned around quickly, grabbing his hands in hers and pulling away quickly. She danced with confidence that she had never known she had before. The other guys just stared as the two danced together as if they were born to do it. Kris spun around again and ground her hips into Nick's crotch gently, almost teasingly as AJ let his jaw drop open. Brian turned the stereo off as they both continued dancing and Nick spun her again and stopped her facing him and pushed his lips against hers roughly again. She reacted and kissed him back, closing her eyes tightly.
"Ok, maybe you guys should leave that last part out of the routine for tonight at the show, but other than that it looks fantastic." Kevin smiled weakly.
They continued kissing each other as if Kevin wasn't even there. Kris opened her eyes and watched Nick closely, she wished he would never stop kissing her like that. Her whole body felt as if it was on fire.
"Whoa." Howie whispered.
"Whoa is right dude." Brian laughed.
"What happened to being scared of Nick?" AJ chuckled.
"He kinda grew on me." Kris smiled, taking a deep breath as Nick pulled away from her.
"So, you gonna become his new dancer for good or what?" AJ asked.
"But, my job at the paper, and....... Dylon." Kris said looking at the floor.
"Who's Dylon?" Nick asked.
"My boyfriend. I have tried to leave him, but he follows me. He hits me......" Kris said walking to the couch and sitting down quickly. Suddenly her head felt like it was going to explode.
"He... he beats you?" Kevin asked.
"Yeah, he doesn't understand the word no." Kris said putting her face into her hands.
"Kris, if you come on tour with us, you'll be safe, babe. I promise, I won't let anything happen to you. And I know the other guys will help protect you too." Nick said sitting next to her.
"I don't want to ruin anything for you. Any of you for that matter." Kris cried.
"You won't ruin anything, I think Nick likes you. And I sure as hell think you're fantastic." Brian smiled.
"Me too babe." AJ winked at her.
"You guys really want me to go on tour with you?" Kris asked quietly.
"Yes, seriously." Nick smiled.
"Well.... alright then. Where do I sign?" Kris smiled and jumped up and hugged Nick tightly.
"We'll get everything squared away tomorrow. And it'll be great Kris, I promise you it will be." He smiled at her and pulled her close to him. "I didn't want a girlfriend you know, but I think I like you a whole lot." Nick whispered into her ear.
"I won't hurt you." She smiled as he hugged her tighter against his body.
"You guys are gonna do awesome tonight at the show." Howie smiled at Brian, who was watching his best friend open up to a girl for the first time in a long time.
"Ok, maybe we should all get ready for the show. It will start sooner than we think." AJ said standing up. "Is Sarah's costume gonna fit her?"
"Oh yeah, she's smaller than Sarah I think." Nick said looking at Kris with a grin. "You're going to spend the night with me tonight." he whispered to her again.
"Ok." She said looking into his eyes. He was beautiful.
"You guys, stop staring at each other and let's go get dressed." Howie laughed.
"Sorry D." Nick whispered as they all went to the dressing room. "The other dancers will be here soon. This is your changing room, your costume will be in the locker that says Sarah." Nick smiled at her as he took her hand into his again, he lifted her palm to his lips and kissed it gently.
"Thank you, all of you. I don't know how I got this amazing chance to work with you guys, but I won't question that it's gonna be quite wonderful." She smiled and turned into the dressing room. Nick watched her until the door closed in his face. He turned around and found AJ staring at him.
"What?" Nick questioned as he walked passed AJ.
"Dude, you like her. You want her." AJ laughed as he followed Nick into the dressing room and closed the door.
"So what if I do? She is a nice girl, that needs to get away from this fucking place. Her boyfriend beats her J, you know more than anyone she needs to come with us." Nick said pulling his shirt off over his head.
"Yeah Nicky, I know. Just be careful, girls like that, sometimes have problems trusting men again. Be careful with her, too. She's different than those girls you fuck on tour." AJ shifted his glance to Brian, who was watching Nick intently.
"Why are you all staring at me?" Nick asked looking around the room.
"Dude, you kissed her." Brian finally said.
"Yes, I kissed her. I've never felt lips like that before, so soft and warm. God." He sighed as he unconciously rubbed his fingers over his lips.
"Dude, he's lost it." Kevin whispered.
"I'll say." Howie smiled as he changed.
"Nicky, I think you guys should take it one day at a time. Go slow with her, and don't fuck her right away, you'll push her away if you do that." Kevin said stepping back into his role as the father figure.
"Yes dad, I know dad. Thanks." Nick sighed pulling his pants on.
"I'm not saying this to be an asshole Nick, she could be very special." Kevin said looking around at the other guys, they shook their heads as if knowing what Kevin was saying. She had been hurt before, and he didn't want her to be hurt again, especially if Nick grew bored with her and fucked someone else on tour.
"I know what you're saying Kev."
