David O'Connor says "Seeing this picture takes me back to my early days, when I had just joined Barnes as a young teacher in 1979. This picture was taken in 1930, and the kids are swimming in the quarries behind Candy Block. I call it "The spirit of Barnes" I would love some feedback on it, especially from someone who was there.
