PROFILE...Frank and Delphine MacInnes(nee Meneaud)
Frank was both a student and teacher at Barnes. Over the years 1955-1968 he held the positions of Assistant Master, Senior House Master, First Assistant Master and Acting Headmaster. In 1969 he migrated to Australia where he became Deputy Headmaster and Acting Headmaster of St Paul's College, Altona North, Victoria. He went on to Our Lady of Sion College in Box Hill and retired from there at the end of 1999. Delphine joined Barnes as Assistant Mistress in 1953. She taught in the Junior School and was House Mistress of Lloyd House. For a short time she continued with teaching in Australia and then took up office management in a Real Estate Agency. She presently manages the office of a busy Plumbing concern and is looking forward to retiring soon. Son, Andrew, is an officer in the Australian Army, in 2001 on a two-year diplomatic posting at the High Commission in Malaysia. Both Frank and Delphine maintain contact with a number of past students and teachers and will always be happy to hear from others on Australia 03/93971429 or FMaci@aol.com.
