Brake Trouble

SYMPTOMPROBLEMCURE

Poor Braking

Brake shoes worn or maladjsuted Replace or adjust Brake shoe/ pads
oil on linning Replace brake linning. Oil can come onlining only when the brake cylinder washers are leak.
Linning not to manufacturers's specification Replac e brake linning as per the manufacturers's specs.
Scored drum or disc Have drums / or discs machined or reeplace if under size
Shoes/pads incorrectly alligned Replace brake shoe/pads

Brakes neeed pumpings

Master cylinder rubber seals worn or damages. Replace and bleed the barke sytem

Brake padel springy

Air in system bleed the brake system
News linning bedding in Fault should cure itself. linning will make its own position with time and usage
Brake drums distorting Have drums machined or replace

Unbalanced Braking

Brake needs adjustment Adjust barake as per manual or take it to mechanic
Linning uneven worn Check and replace as necessary
oil on one or more linning Replace brake linning and check the oil leak cause
Dirt in drums Blow out brake gear
Scored or dietorted drums or discs Have drums or discs machined or replaced
Springs loose Replace springs
Brake backplate loose Retighten
Linning not all of the szme type. Check and replace as necesary

brakes binding check adjustment first,then check for seized wheel cylinders. replace if seized

swollen rubber parts in master or wheel cylinder Strip and replace rubber parts
Kinked pipelines Replace only the faulty one
Poor adjustment Readjust

Brake Squeak

Dust or grease on linning/Pads Dust out or replace linnings/pads
Linnings misaligned or requiring "chamfering" to bed in Check n alignment , bed in linning to manufacturer's instructions.
Linnings worn down to rivert or metal backing( disc pads) Replace Disc Pads
