A Road Side Emergency: Would You know what to do?

A  bearkdown is a stressful situation that can be compounded by traffic,weather, location, even the time of day.Become familiar with the following procedure before an emergency arises.

 A Road side Emergency Steps
  • Use the car's momentum to get it off the road safely and quickely.
  • Put on the emergency flasher, put the car in netural and get as far off to the right as possible. If you are on a divided highway, you may have to pull to the left hand corner.
  • Exit the car from the door away from the traffic.This is very important.
  • Raise the hood and leave it open, even if you do not understand the problem. It's an indication to other drivers to be caution .
  • If you have cellular phone call your friends.
  • In overheating condition ( open the hood and leave the open till 40 min).Never ever try to open the Radiator cap.Never!! unless the engine temprature comes down.Than Remove the radiator cap slowly keeping your face far away from it. Do not keep the dirction of your face on the top of the cap.
