Suspension & Damper Trouble

SYMPTOMPROBLEMCURE

Road shocks and bumps severe.

Rusty springs. Rubber mounting bushes on springs may have collasped or hardened Lubricate with penetrating oil except where spring leaves lined with rubbber
Worn or flatted plate Replace or have reset bt specialist
Seized shackle plate Replace
Faulty shock absorbers Replace shocks

Coil Spring system

Jammed suspension arms Dismentle and replace bushes
Faulty shockabsorbers Replace shock absorbers

Hydro-Pneumatic system

Pressure too high.Punture in hydro-lastic system,or time height set too low visit specialist. do not try to do by your self.
Valve damaged visit specialist.

Car sags at one side

Weak or broken springs Replace springs or have it reset
Loss of pressure on pneumatic system Check for leaks in P.system and visit specialist

Springing bouncy insufficient damping

Faulty valve in shock absorber Test for action with bottom shock absorber link disconnected.Replace if necessary
Leaking shock absorber Replace
Worn shock absorber mounting bushes Replace bushes

Damping excessive springing too stiff(check by bouncing car at its corner

seized shock absorber Replace shock absorbers
