Tonight, Katie and Jordan have gone off to a fourth of July thing at church. Dad's busy on the computer, designing pages for people.

  So Starr, Juli and I decided to go out on our deck as the sun went down, and dance, singing our hearts out with Emmylou Harris at top volume. There are no neighbors to bother, as our farm is in the middle of our 20ish acres, and the rest of our land is forest. Starr is holding a broom, playing it like a guitar, "If You Loved Me Half As Much As I Do You". Then she just began dancing. Starr dances so fast, that it's almost impossible for me to take pictures of the motion!

  Then she plays an imaginary banjo for "Guess Things Happen That Way," then an imaginary violin for "Hard Times, Come Again No More." Juli is playing a pretend guitar, then a pretend violin, and I - I'm just dancing, singing, and we're all laughing. We're all dancing beneath the stars.
