Michael was a bright, inquisitive little boy, with an active mind. I remember him at two years old, being the only child I ever had, who was fascinated with what things were made of. For instance, he would touch the screen to the glass door, and ask "whasat?" "Screen." I would reply. He would touch the glass. "Whatsat?" "Glass." He touched the metal frame to the door, and asked "whatsat?" "Metal." And there was a plastic part too, which I have forgotten. "Whasat?" "Plastic." And they were real questions, and he remembered. He would then go around his environment, touching things, and naming them. "Rock." "Brick." "Cement." He was always a real thinker.
He also was blessed with great affection, and a wry sense of humor!
