Celestial Beauty
When I raise my eyes to the night sky
I see your likeness in the stars.
I find it amazing that your beauty can rival
That of heavenly bodies afar.
I've been forced to navigate the stars through a tunnel
That greatly constricted what I believed,
But of all stars upon which my gaze has fallen,
You're the most spectacular that I've seen.
You radiate the most beautiful of lights,
One that's warm, sweet, and pure,
And when I bask in your glorious warmth,
It's difficult not to feel secure.
I have left that tunnel behind me, for you,
And your vivid light that shines so divine.
Never in my life could I have wished
To encounter a star so angelic and fine.
