What can I say
That's not been said already?
I would just be another lost soul
Wandering without a cause
Had I not the stars to guide me:
Your stars.
So I wander nary an aimless day
Forever lost
Within your gaze.
I've been searching,
Searching for direction;
For purpose.
It seems that I've found it
With you.
Our entire lives lie in wait,
And yet,
I cannot help but wonder what the future holds.
Will there come a time when our paths part?
Or will I be forever lost within your heart?
I hope so,
For my sake.
Your love has yet to come;
Perhaps it never will.
But I hope that you someday see me
As I see you,
And that you recognize what I have to offer.
I hope and dream, but is it in vain?
Will I be forever lost, consumed by pain?
It seems as though
I've caught a moonbeam;
One that makes me wonder
And smile
And shed tears of joy
In her name.
Do you really see
What you mean to me
Or am I forever lost
Inside a dream?
Every time I look at you,
Whenever our eyes meet,
It brings me great joy
Knowing that you're mine,
Or, rather,
I'm yours,
Because I'm the one
In love with you.
But what we have is strictly ours,
My heart forever destined to be solely yours.
Now I know that even the darkest night
Can be withstood to bring in
The brightest day,
And I've found myself forever lost
In a love that I hope never fades away.
I've found myself in a beautiful place.
There's never a dull moment with you;
You've always got something new to surprise me with;
Some new way to make me happy,
Some new way to warm my heart,
A heart that warms for only you.
I hope that I get to stay here with you,
And maybe be by your side for awhile
