The friars of the Sacro Convento give thanks to all of our friends, benefactors and those devoted to Saint Francis, and wish you all "Pace e bene" ("peace and good") on this feast day. To confirm these best wishes, we envoke the blessing of the Lord on all of you and your families through the formula used by Saint Francis to Brother Leo:
The Lord be with you.
The Lord bless you and protect you. Amen.
May He shine His face upon you and grant you His mercy. Amen.
May He show you His contenance and grant you His peace. Amen.
And, the Blessing of Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, descend upon you and remain with you forever. Amen.
