DEBOARD, John Franklin---Born on March 12, 1895 in Douglas County, Missouri. Joined the U. S. Army and fought in World War II. Married Ellen Moore LAND and settled in Franklin, Texas where they had three known children. Ellen was born on April 16, 1904 and died on April 20, 1986 in Franklin, Robertson County, Texas. John DEBOARD also died in Franklin, Texas on March 1, 1965.

1920 Federal Census: Justice Precinct #1, Van Zandt County, TX---living with Earl and Sarah Stewart.
1930 Federal Census: Precinct 6, Robertson County, TX--John age 58 and a farmer on a general farm. Also with him are his wife Ella age 25, sons Paul age 4 1/12 and Homer age 4/12.

DEBOARD, Christopher C.---Born in June or August, 1898 in Douglas County, Missouri. Believed to have lived with a family by the name of Jackson until he joined the U. S. Army at the age of 19 1/2 on February 4, 1918 at Jefferson Barracks in Missouri. He served overseas according to his Service Record from March 27, 1918 until January 18, 1919. Married Stella Smith and it is believed that they had two daughters. He was last seen by my grandmother (his niece) in the 1940s. The above picture is believed to be his daughter, Florence Marie DEBOARD.

1920 Federal Census: Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, Missouri. Christopher DeBoard age 19 born in Missouri and a PVT in U. S. Army.
1930 Federal Census: District 87, Springfield, Sangamon County, ILL---Christopher age 30 working as a painter at a factory. Living with him is his daughter Florence at age 3.
Last known address in 1932 was in Ozark County, Missouri in the care of Bill Shirley.

2. DeBoard, Marie Christine---Born January 25, 1928 in Springfield, Missouri. She was adopted out and her name was then changed to Norma Jean Hickman. She married Frank Douglas and lived in Macomb, Illinois until her death in May, 2003. They had two children.

DEBOARD, Mary Ellen---Born on April 12, 1905 in Douglas County, Missouri. She lived with her grandparents, John C. and Martha CLINES, after her mother's death. On August 13, 1918 in Stone County, Missouri, she married Henry Edward SIESSOR. Henry SIESSOR was born on February 13, 1892 and died on January 16, 1945. Mary died on January 21, 1973 in Borger, Hutchinson County, TX.

1920 Federal Census: Ponce de Leon Township, Stone County, Missouri. Edward Sieser age 29 (cannot read the occupation) and wife Mary age 16.
1930 Federal Census: Ponce de Leon Township, Stone County, Missouri. Eddie C. Sersser age 36 as a farmer on a general farm, wife Mary L. age 27, daughters Gertie M. age 8, Sarrie E. age 6, Mattie age 3 1/12, and Lola M. age 11/12.

DEBOARD, Sarah Elizabeth---Born on March 5, 1901 in Douglas County, Missouri. Sarah died on January 20, 1994 in Salina, Kansas and is buried in Borger, Hutchinson County, Texas beside her husband Earl.

She began living with her grandparents, John C. and Sarah CLINES, after her mother's death, but was sent to live with a family by the name of WILLIAMS due to Sarah's CLINES' inability to care for both girls. Married Earl Linus STEWART on December 24, 1918 in Van Zandt County, TX. Earl STEWART said that it was her long black, shiny hair that caught his attention.
