JANE MARIE EASLEY

May 3, 1958--December 31, 1996

Most of the Easley family genealogy came from Jane Easley's records. This woman walked many a cemetary and looked through many records to find not only her own family, but also many others for people that simply asked her to take a look. She worked with the Genealogy Society in Madill, Oklahoma and helped out many people. All of her work was done without the aide of her own computer or internet service. Everything that she did was voluntary. I, along with other family members, have worked hard to piece together her many records to put together a list of ancestors. Because most of this work is Jane's, I'm dedicating the Easley Family section to her. Jane Marie Easley was born on May 3, 1958 in Indio, California. Joined the U.S. Army on July 22, 1977 in Oakland, California. She exited the Army with an Honorable Discharge on April 14, 1978 at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. Married Juan De Dios Sanchez on January 7, 1979 in Victorville, California. Divorced on February 22, 1983. Juan De Dios Sanchez was killed in California by a hit-and-run driver in 1999. She had two children. She succumbed to cancer on December 31, 1996 in Madill, Oklahoma.

EASLEY, William M.---Born on January 19, 1804 in Tennessee. Married Nancy (last name unknown). Nancy was born before 1824 and died sometime before 1842. He had seven children with Nancy before her death. He then married Charlotty SMITH in about 1842.Charlotty was born on August 15, 1823 and died February 1, 1879. They had eleven children of their own. William died on March 2, 1888 in Alcorn County, Mississippi.
