Of course it is a lie to use the hyperbole that bounty hunters can kill wantonly... As a bonding woman and long-time user of recovery agents,I know.
Your emotional garbage is just that just that,a chunk of garbage. Recovery agents made over 21,000 arrests last year for the bonding industry...with damn few problems.
Hell,there are more incidents of wrongful arrest,violence,etc filed against the Vancouever PD in a year than against all the bounty hunters in the US. And for the record,there are about 400 full time hun ters and about 1800 part time in the US. I notice,as others have, you failed to point out why the agents were trying to arrest the subject.

David, Although completely sympathetic towards your loss of a family member, I must say that your story seemed a bit "One-Sided". Actually, a LOT "One-Sided"... First of all, Bounty Hunters "DO NOT" have a license to kill. In fact, they have LESS powers as an enforcement agent than even the IRS. Obviously, (if it was their fault), this was a rogue situation involving rogue bounty hunters (now referred to as "Fugitive Recovery Agents" and/or "Bail Enforcement Agents" or in some states "Runners").

Do you honestly think that Criminals Should Just NOT show up in Court? And I seriously Doubt (although not ruling completely out "Rambo Style Mentality"), that These Two Bail Enforcement Agents "Set Out" with the Intent to kill your Brother. Do you beleive that? If you do believe this, What did your brother do to them? Certainly it was not a "Contract Mob-Style Hit" for $125.. right? !! As your story fails to show any DETAILS as to the Night's (Morning's) events from witnesses, or even the story from the Bail Enforcement Agent's point of view... I find it hard to believe (as you are attempting to lead readers to believe), that these men were completely unprovoked, or have some sort of tangible story (not necessrilly credible), but at least you could inform the readers of what that might be.
Although I truly am sorry for your loss (and please don't patronize me.. as I have a related loss too), I think that your story would have a much better effect on the reader's if it was more thorough, and not just an attack on the "Bail Enforcement Agent Industry" in general.

I am a "Fugitive Recovery Agent" Myself, and I surely have never Killed anyone, nor have I ever even had to un-holster my Pistol. It is of course necessary to carry self-defense weaponry in the course of the job, but most of these weapons are NON-Lethal. I do however carry Lethal Weapons, as a last resort in the midst of danger. I have also been on enough contracts to know, that since most people had no intention of appearing in court, that they surely do not want to be re-arrested, therefore making them agitated at the sign of ANY Law-Enforcement agent, and many times violent.
Although it is completely understandable that your pain has turned into anger, you are attacking the wrong thing. Legislature in MOST STATES has already made Bail Enforcement Agents, virtually obsolete, due to the Liberal Grass-Root "Criminals Rights" movements. There are however, many Law-Abiding BEA's, who's purpose is to put the criminals in the court room to appear against the charges they face.

FACT: More Citizens are killed by Police Officers annually, than by BEA's since Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Again, I sympathize with your loss, but think that you could actually do a service to the Industry and Yourself, by attacking the right people... Which would be the INDIVIDUALS that killed your brother, not the Industry.
