HEART:
My
dear Friend,
You have made the most important decision of your life!
You have received the most wonderful Person – the Lord Jesus
Christ! By trusting Him as
your Savior you have become a Christian in the truest sense of the word.
I rejoice with you in your salvation, and want you to know that
there are many people praying for you. They are those people who at a given time in their lives have
also received Christ into their hearts.
They are your brothers and sisters in Christ, all belonging to
the Family of God.
The Bible teaches that becoming a Christian is the beginning of
your new life in Christ. In
order to help you be the kind of Christian God wants you to be, I have
made available to you these Bible lessons. By personally studying the Bible, which is the Word of God,
together with the prayer and encouragement of other Christians, you will
grow and experience the abundant life Jesus promised.
It is my prayer that you will commit yourself to complete this
program. In order to help
you accomplish this, you will be paired with another person who will
assist you on a weekly basis. You
need to select a time in a day (about 30 minutes) to read through the
materials and answer the questionnaires.
Be sure to show or turn in the worksheets every time you finish a
chapter. You can also use this time to have your quiet time with God
in prayer and meditation. Don’t
forget to memorize the assigned verses.
Much of what you will study in these lessons was used of the Lord
to teach me when I was a new Christian. I know from personal experience that if you are willing to
follow and practice what is taught in this program, you will experience
the wonderful life of peace, joy and spiritual satisfaction.
