Clouds of the hurricane began arriving yesterday.. today their rains arrives, having traveled all the way through Louisiana into Arkansas.. lovely and amazing, the power... loud, the noises seem to be carrying for forever, the sound of metal bending, and yet it is so gentle here, the rain that one knows it is just the sound of noises being carried in the wind... limbs keep falling out of my tree, as it shakes the limbs that are dead down...

I spent the morning in bed, sleeping through it..... very noisy.... yet quiet.... unlike a thunderstorm, no lightning, no thunder ones walking through it, just gust of winds, eerie sounds that sound like a freeway (must be up in the clouds) and deep deep sounds..

Got a report back on the power of our prayers in face of hurricane... thought I would pass it along... many collective prayers within the grid, joining as one voice... I'm certain we are learning something now...

last night as I lay in bed trembling at the power of the hurricane, the deep roar that comes with the wind, the cracking the tree limbs... It is like there is this moment when it sounds like there is a thunder being up there walking around, then I realize it is the sound of a tree.. it is the crackling sound of a tree being pulled from the ground carried in the wind for some 200 miles, passing over up above it carries the sound of a thunder one, but without the lightning and the rest of the effects... I thought how much fun we would be having if we had a pajama party in this.... you know the kind where, flashlight in hand, heads under the blanket, listening to the scary sounds we discuss what we think that spooky sound goes to..

SO HERE ARE THE PICTURES

ARROW UP, PLEASE NOTE THE WHITE TRAILER IN BACK OF THIS PICTURE IS WHERE I WAS SITTING WRITING IN MY JOURNAL FROM... WHILE THE HURRICANE WAS PASSING THROUGH.. AND ALL THE WAY BACK THERE AT THE BACK OF THAT WHITE TRAILER WAS WHERE I WAS SITTING THINKING SOUNDS THIS SCARY DESERVE A PAJAMA PARTY AND SOMEONE TO SHARE IT WITH

ARROW DOWN, THIS IS A PICTURE OF ABOUT 1/3RD OF THE TREE. THE REST OF IT IS IN ANOTHER PERSONS YARD.... WHEW WHEE.. THIS GUY FREQUENTLY HAS GUEST IN A TRAILER LIKE GRANDPA HUNTS, AND THEY CAMP RIGHT THERE WHERE THE TREE FELL..... GOOD THING THEY WEREN'T THERE THAT NIGHT.

haha, OKAY SO THE TREE BEING UPROOTED AND FALLING DOWN WASN'T THE SOUND BEING CARRIED UPON THE WIND FOR 200 MILES.. BUT RATHER THE SOUND OF THE TREE BEING UPROOTED NEXT DOOR....

AND HERE I WAS THINKING WE SHOULD HAVE HAD A PAJAMA PARTY THAT NIGHT....

THAT WIND WAS A LITTLE SCARY....

I JUST WENT OUT AND TALKED TO THE HURRICANE FOR A BIT..... BUT WOW WHAT A PICTURE... AND WHAT A SOUND..

INTERESTING EH?

so probably every time I heard that sound... it was the sound of a tree coming down... BUT IT WAS REALLY INTERESTING BECAUSE HEARD THAT SOUND MANY TIMES IN THE 24 HOUR PRECEDING IT...

Oh and the thing was... there were 2 trees standing together that when we looked at them we saw them as husband and wife. Tonya called the wife Nefertiti.. and husband she called Pharaoh... It was Nefertiti who was laid out on the ground.. so it was kind of sad because I was wondering how Pharaoh was going to respond now that his wife was laid out on the ground.
