2004 Completed Knitting Projects

I hope to expand my knitting horizons this year and get better at fit and design. I still have a lot of UFOs and WIPs to weed through. Here is the photographic evidence of my accomplishments (sure sounds important, doesn't it?)

Like Buttah Scarf

Completed February 5, 2004. This scarf got it's name because this yarn is so soft, the only description that fit was "like buttah". The pattern is the Matt pattern from Myrna Stahman's Scarves for Matthew, in memory of Matthew Shepherd. The yarn is Grignasco 100% Cashmere, DK weight, 25 grams,120 yd/ball. The scarf is for my loving husband. After working with this wonderful yarn, I'm spoiled.

1-2-3 Hat for Justin

Completed February 7, 2004. The last hat I made him was too big, but this one was just right! The pattern is from Knitting Digest Magazine. I used acrylic scraps from my stash and put jingle bells on the top points instead of the pompoms shown in the pattern.
