Sacrifice

Did you ever look at someone and know that you could fall in love with him but knew it would never be right

To do so would ruin the relationship between the two of you, no matter if he was worth the fight

Wanting to reach out to him and sooth all his misery; all his hurt away

Knowing that the feelings you have must be limited and saved for someone else; some other day

Sacrificing your feelings

Wanting but not grasping the life you most need

Telling him would take away the closenness

Even tho, so much your emotions are wanting freedom you plead.

Continuing with nowhere to turn

emotions that could be considered a reaction of lies.

Feeling lost in the world

Questions...no answers, no whys.

Desolation churns thru my gut with such force.

Going down the road towards an unchartered course.

So many words he expects from me..so many words I want to say.

Hoping in time as life goes on

With someone, the truth I can admit...for this I pray.
