But What
Down the winding sinister rut.
Continuing on and on further,
yet deeper on this
loathsome track.
When will it end.
Will the ending be dreadful.
(The feeling of
anxiety of the unknown)
Will it be great.
(The feeling of peace)
On and on you
continue on.
The feeling of De-JA-vu nipping at your heels.
With every step
further, rising hysteria seeps into your body.
The way starts to lighten,
is it
good, or bad not able to stop,
not able to go faster.
The urgent feeling of
anxiety replaced,
but by what.
On and on blinded by white light.
Feeling fluently
liquified.
Forced to see with your mind.
A madden medley of shapes,
eruptions
of radiance,
so brilliant you fear your sanity will be consumed in this abyss
of madness.
Just then sight slowly drift back as the track slopes up.
Now able
to see over the walls now as white,
and full of luminance as the light,
smooth
as a pearl.
A maze of which you was merely a piece,
but what is the meaning.
The walls fall away,
and still the invisible track continues futher,
on either side a passing breeze,
sandy beach below.
Open your arms and let the pure air flow over your
entire being.
On and on you continue on.
Until you stop at the fine point
of infinity.
Eyes open as you gaze upon it.
The feeling of peace of mind,
and inner solace gazing into……….
You open your drowsy eyes,
the alarm clock ringing.
Laying there you want
to go back to…
what you don’t know.
Was it just a dream,
or something else?
But What!!
