The End of Love
You say you don’t love me
You say you don’t care.
Once you said you loved me.
Told me you were different.
That you would never hurt me.
I gave my heart to you.
I trusted you with my love.
I thought you were really different.
Then you proved me wrong.
You told me you weren’t ready.
Then why did you let things begin?
I gave you something special,
Then you pulled away.
You hurt me so bad.
You told me to be your friend.
I will never be the same.
You’ always be on my mind.
I will always wonder why?
Why you played me for a fool?
You ripped out my heart.
But never gave it back.
I wish things were different.
But they never will be.
So now I move on with my life.
Find a better guy.
Someone who will always love me
And give me back my heart
To love them fully.
And make me forget.
