Fishing on The River of Life

Lets talk fishing. Everyone has had the
expierence of the one that got away.
You know, the one fish that seemed
bigger than all the rest, the one
that you would do anything to catch.
You cast your strongest line and you wait
for a bite, unsure of what will happen.
Sometimes it ignores the lure, sometimes
you scare it away, other times it bites
but you loose it. On occasion you come
across a fish so strong it brakes the rod.
No matter how the fish gets away, you always
reel your line back in and start all over.
Somtimes you try to catch the same fish,
or sometimes you go after different fish.

After all of that you're just about ready
to give up when you see another fish
and decide to cast one last time.
You can tell someting is up, because
even your cast feels different.
Low and behold it bites,
you prepare for a fight.
The adrenaline pumps as
there is a massive tug of war.
But again, it feels different.
Somehow you know the fish is yours.
Slowly, the fish stops fighting and you
reel it in, a sense of pride comes over you.
Lastly, you think to yourself, how exciting
fishing is on the river of life.
