The Bear

At times I can be a grizzly bear;
well set, lumbering, and round
shelter and food my only care
cross me and a roar I will sound.

I can also be a polar bear of white
a nomad wandering all alone
blending with snow, out of sight
the icy north I make my home.

Lastly I can be a teddy bear
fuzzy, playful, warm, and soft
just waiting for someone to care
and take me off my perching loft.
