This summer I took a trip to Guatemala and Ecuador.  I usually come to Guatemala just to visit family, but this time I took the opportunity to go as a tourist as well.  I've always wanted to see the Mayan Ruins, so this was a special trip for me.  I was able to stay with family friends when I was in Guatemala City and also was able to stay with my mom's cousin when I stayed in the town where she grew up.  I was very blessed to have great family and friends who were so welcoming and happy to take me around to so many different places.
