Enchanted Rock
Enchanted rock was a wonderful experience. Even though I almost died, i did find inspiration enough to write my college application essay into stanford so it wasn't all that bad.

This is a picture i took from the van on the way up to the rock.

while everyone got out of the van and began eating the pb and crazy jelly and jam sandwiches max provided, josh and i did a little temporary exploring.the picture speaks for itself. that is josh by the by doing the posing. he was later arrested for defacing the property and had to return misplaced rocks within 100 yards of the property. due to such a grueling task, he was forced to leave camp early and devote the rest of his summer as well as the first two weeks of his school year completing his sentence. he now lives a quiet and happy life in a remote and disclosed...just joshin...its not that disclosed.

on the way up, maybe 2/5 of the way to the top, i stopped and looked to my left, this is what i saw.

once i got to the top, i realized how high up i really was. the view was just breathtaking. but since this is only a picture, i am sure you will be able to resusitate yourself shortly.

this is the tiny opening we had to crawl through in order to go in the cave Phil had been going to "for years". had i known i was putting my life in danger, i would have kept walking down to the bottom like my common sense told me, but no, the peer pressure was on and i was at the end of the line with max and some other teachers so i figured i would be alright...pshh, man plz...

Well, those are all the pictures i have of enchanted rock. But you don't have to take my word for it...if you travel back to everyone's opinions, allyson will add her two cents and a quarter.
