When your heart is filled with sorrow,
And your soul with deep despair,
Jesus is the only one
Who hears your mournful prayer.
When your world is falling apart,
You're filled with stress and strain;
Only Jesus can comfort you,
Only He can ease the pain.
When there's nothing to hold onto,
And nowhere left for you to go,
Just put your trust in Jesus,
Because He loves you so.
For if you'll only trust Him,
Your suffering will cease;
His loving care will surround you,
To bring you comfort and peace.
So have faith, and trust in Jesus,
Let His Holy Spirit guide you.
And you'll never, ever walk alone-
He will always be beside you.
