The Price He Paid

The Price He Paid

~Jesus Paid It All~

Let this mind be in you, which was also in
Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God,
thought it not robbery to be equal with God;
But made himself of no reputation and took
upon him the form of a servant, and was made
in the likeness of men; And being found in
fashion as a man, He humbled himself and be-
came obedient unto death, even the death of
the cross. Phillippians 2:5-8

We'll never fully understand
Such mercy, grace and love,
As shown by Christ, our Savior,
Who came from heav'n above.

He left all heaven's splendor
To live like you and me;
To walk in this old wicked world,
And die on Calvary's tree.

He gave His very life to save
Our sinful souls, so lost;
He bought our redemption,
But at what an awful cost!

We'll never know the price He paid,
His despair, and deepest pain.....
Oh, please don't turn your back on Him!
Don't let Him die in vain!

No other way could we be saved,
And so, He felt death's sting....
His gift is free, for you and me,
But it cost Him everything!
