WE BELIEVE the Bible is the inspired, infallible, ultimate authority. It is the God-breathed Word of God given to holy men as they were borne along by the Spirit of the Lord. It is the final word all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Tim 3:16 & 2 Peter 1:19-21).
WE BELIEVE that there is One true and Living God, who is infinite in Power, Holy in nature, attributes and purpose; And that He is omnipotent, (all-powerful) omnicient (all-knowing) and omnipresent. Jesus Christ links this essential truth: Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is "one Lord" to the first and greatest commandment, to love God with all of our heart, mind and strength. (Deut. 6:4; Mark 12:29-30, Rev. 1:8)
WE BELIEVE that the Almighty God has, throughout history revealed Himself in a variety of ways, names and titles, as seen in the holy scriptures of the Bible, which is the word of God. In these last days He has spoken to us in His Son, in whom dwells all the fulness of the Godhead in bodily form. (Hebrews 1:1-2, Colossians 2:9-10) He that has the Son has the Father, the bible says.
Primarily, and in the words of the Apostle Paul: Without controversy--Great is the mystery of godliness. God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (I Tim. 3:16)
Furthermore this truth will be opposed by demons working through men. The mind is the battle field where the war is waged for the eternal soul. Cast down imaginations that oppose the truth of God's word! (2 Cor. 10:5) Arm yourselves with the word of truth, which is the word of God found in the scriptures of the bible. Reject fables. (I Tim. 4:7) God's word alone is able to make you wise unto salvation.
"Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter days, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. We do not wrestle with flesh and blood. (I Timothy 4:1, 2 Corinthians 10:4-6) God was/is revealed to us 1) As Father in creation, (The Father of Lights-James 1:17) As Son in redemption, (Redeemed through the blood of Christ from sins-Ephesians 1:7, From the curse of the law, including from every sickness or plague-Deut.28, Galatians 3:13, From every lawless deed-Titus 2:14, Rev. 5) God is revealed to us as the Holy Spirit in regeneration and empowerment. (Acts 1:8, Acts 9:5-17,Acts 16:7) He The Comforter. (2 Cor. 1:3)The God of all mercies. (Eph. 2:4) Through the redemption of the Lamb of God, Messiah; the Son of God, God's grace is imparted through faith in the atoning sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross. God's presence never leaves those who trust in Him. (Luke 12:12; John 14:26;1 Cor 8:6; Eph 4:6).
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God; the first-born of all creation; and that by Him all things were created, both in the Heavenlies and on and Earth, visible and invisible, thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities - all things have been created by Him and for Him. (Col. 1:15-17). Jesus Christ is before all things, and in Him all things hold together, and that He is the head of the Church; that He is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, and that the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily within Him (Col 1:17-19, Rev. 21:21-23).
WE BELIEVE in the fullness of the manifestations of Jesus Christ as Head of the Church, through His many membered body. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11) These are seen in offices and giftings, and we believe in the restoration of these, where lacking; to the present day church including the present-day ministry of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher as those whom God has ordained to equip the church for the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Being empowered to fulfill the Great Commission, and to walk even as Jesus Christ walked. (1 John 2:6, Eph. 4:11-16)
WE BELIEVE in the total inability of man to save himself through his own human self-effort. We repudiate the use of "good deeds," rosaries, holy water, Hail Mary's, penance, images of saints, or religious icons and relics to as a means to earn salvation for an individual. Salvation cannot be earned. It is the gift of God, and not of works that any man should boast. (Romans 6:23) Repentance from sin, faith in Christ Jesus and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord is the scriptural God ordained means of salvation. These humble attitudes of heart are vital for salvation (1 John 1:9 & John 6:37); and that salvation is a gift of grace (Ephesians 2:8-10 & Romans 3:23-24).
After a person is saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, there will be accompanying "works," as the life of Jesus Christ is manifest in the life of the believer, and this is seen as the fruit of the Spirit, and God's power to do the works of Jesus. (Galatians 5:22-23, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-4)
WE BELIEVE that man originally walked with God in perfect harmony, but fell into disobedience, sin and death passed on all men. (Romans 3:23, Genesis 3:1-24, Romans 5:12,19); and that the new birth must be experienced to become a child of God (John 3:3 & 2 Corinthians 5:17; Jeremiah 31:1; & John 1:8-10).
WE BELIEVE in living the Christian life daily and through the power of the Spirit. (Thessalonians 5:23 & Hebrews 6:1; Romans 12:2).
WE BELIEVE there is a realm that exists side by side with this one, but it is invisible. It is called "The spirit realm." Though we cannot see this realm with our natural eyes, it is a dimension experienced "through the Spirit." We can see the visible results of what transpires in this spiritual realm, both good and bad. (John 3:7-8, 2 Cor. 10:5, Daniel 10:13) Included in this realm are God, His angels, also evil spirits or demons. Jesus Christ, through His sinless life, and atoning death on the cross triumphed over sin, sickness, Satan and demonic spirits. He holds the keys of death and hell. (Rev. 1:17-18)
Believers have His authority over these things in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Believers live and walk in Spirit, in Christ-like character. They say: I have authority over temptation. I will live a holy life in Jesus Christ's name. When we pray, we say: Sickness go in Jesus name! Spirit of cancer go in Jesus name! You tormenting spirit, loose this person in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the blood of Jesus!
WE BELIEVE in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:5,8 & Acts 2:4).
WE BELIEVE in the Spirit-filled life (Romans 12:1,2 & Galatians 5:16,25).
WE BELIEVE that we must be moderate in all things (Philippians 4:5); and to not allow our liberty in Christ to cause another believer to stumble (Romans 14:21).
WE BELIEVE in water baptism by immersion (Romans 5:12-21 & Acts 2:38-41, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:46-48, Acts 19:5).
WE BELIEVE in the institution of the Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:23-31).
WE BELIEVE in Church relationships and in civil government (Hebrews 10:24- 25 & Romans 13:1-4).
WE BELIEVE in the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:6-8; Galatians 5:22-23 & John 15:8).
WE BELIEVE divine healing is part of the atoning work of Christ on the cross. That Jesus Christ's substitutionary death for the salvation of sinful mankind was a complete and finished work. (John 19:30) Healing therefore, comes through appropriating the redemption price that Jesus paid. Belief in this truth, not only enables each person to receive divine healing, (Mark 16:17-18) but to walk in close relationship with God and divine health and wholeness of their mind, in purity and sound judgment; of their body and with a sense of physical well being, and of an undefiled soul (James 1:27) and spirit, as they keep themselves in and through the protection of the Word of God. He that keeps himself, the evil one, touches him not. (I Peter 2:24, James 5:14-16, Matthew 8:17, Colossians 2:9-10 ).
WE BELIEVE in the blessed hope, called in Latin "the rapere/rapture of the Church," when Christ will return to the earth in a time of national crisis. At this time when He comes "for His saints to remove them, He meets them "in the air." We also believe that the Second Coming of Christ is a separate or subsequent event to the rapture or out-translation of Christ's church, when the Lord comes "with His saints." At the Second Coming, Messiah Jesus Christ sets His foot on the Mt. of Olives and it physically splits in two. (Titus 2:13-15; John 14:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:14- 18 & 1 Corinthians 15:51-55).
WE BELIEVE that this event will be experienced by believers suddenly in an atom of time so small as to be indivisible (1 Corinthians 15:5-52) At this out-translation of the church, the believers shall meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air, (1 Thess. 4:14-18) and we shall ever be with the Lord. Based on the original text of Rev. 3:10, this will occur prior to a time of "tribulation" such as the world has never seen. This is called "The Great Tribulation."
This period is coming upon all the world as a trial, and God will keep those who have kept the word of His patience from out of it, by removing them from the earth; not through it, by leaving them here.
WE BELIEVE that every Christian shall stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ to give an account of the stewardship of his earthly life (1Corinthians 3:11-15 & 2Corinthians 5:10).
WE BELIEVE in the personal return to earth by Jesus Christ to set up an earthly kingdom for 1,000 years. This 1,000 year period is known as the Millennial Reign of Christ (Revelations 19:20-21 & Revelations 20:1-4).
WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the unsaved; one to eternal life and the other to eternal damnation (John 5:28-29).
WE BELIEVE that every sinner shall stand before God and the Great White Throne Judgement to give account of the deeds done in this life as recorded in the Books (Revelations 20:11-15). Those whose names are not found in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
WE BELIEVE in an actual place called HEAVEN and and actual place called HELL In heaven, God is the light and the Lamb is the LAMP thereof, the express image of God's person. (Rev. 21:21-23, Colossians 1:15, 1 Corinthians 2:9; John 14:2-4; Revelations 20:10-15; Revelations 21:1; Revelations 4:1-2; Isaiah 67:17; Mark 9:42-28; 2Peter 2:4; & Matthew 10:28).
WE BELIEVE that the Church is responsible to evangelize all the nations (Mark 16:15 & John 4:35-38).
WE BELIEVE that God has ordained the charitable freewill gifts and offerings of Christian believers for the support the Lord’s work as stated in scripture. (2 Corinthians 9:6-15)
