Unlike in face to face readings, the querent (the person asking the question) has, obviously, no physical contact with the cards, and is not in the physical present of the reader. However, it still works in much the same way. You, the querent asks a question or chooses a spread, and I, the reader, focus on you and your question while shuffling the cards and laying out the spread. Interpretating the cards is based on intuition whether the querent is present or not, and intuition does not necessarily become clouded when the querent is a great distance away. I do, however, find that I can be more accurate if I have a visual of the querent. If you are able to send me a fairly recent photograph of yourself, please do. I can return it to you when I send you your reading if you ask me to. Your photograph will be kept in strict confidentiality, and will not be copied in any way. People ask me why I do not offer face to face readings. I am simply not comfortable reading the cards in someone else's presence. I find that it distracts me and makes it hard for me to focus. I also believe that by doing it by mail, I am offering you more information than if I was reading your cards face to face during a 30minute session. Having the spread written up also gives you the opportunity to keep the information somewhere safe, so that you can look over it in the future, or read over it in your own time, without having to worry about committing it all to memory or mixing some of the information up.
