My Gift's From God!!!!

This page is going to be all about my kids...they are my reason for living..
I thank God every day that he gave them to me!They are my little miracles!

Drew Michial...

This is my oldest, and my only son. He is going to be 12 in January.
Drew was born with Attention Defecit Disorder and Tourette's Syndrome.
We had a rough time when he was a baby, he hated to
sleep and he would do terrible things to himself so he wouldn't end up falling asleep!
He would gouge at his eyes..he has scars from this since the nurses in the hospital
"forgot" to put his hands in some kind of mittens.
He pulled his eyelashes out, his hair out, left deep gouges in his cheeks..
all so he didnt have to go to sleep and screaming the whole time.
We used to pass him back and forth between anyone who wanted to help,
while we rocked him back and forth hard to try to get him to sleep.
This behavior continued throughout his toddler years...when he was in kindergarten
the teachers where having problems getting him to pay attention,
he would often blurt out things without raising his hand..make noises, sing, humm,
fidget in his seat...
thats when they decided that he should see someone for ADHD. The doctors believed
he had it..and put him on Ritalin...
after lots of Dr's..and lots of problems with it...we finally took him to a team of
specialist in Ann Arbor Michigan...
where they did extensive test and reveiled that he also had Tourette's Syndrome
He doesn't have the worst type..and hopefully never will get it...
He has vocal tics(where he makes noises, like cars, humms, clears his throat..etc),
and facial tics
(where he rolls his eyes, moves his mouth from side to side..etc),
the tics come and go..the ones that I hate the most are the ones where he is constantly
cracking his neck...drives me insane..but I know that he can't help it..
He is smart as a whip, in fact when he was having difficulty in school with reading,
the school gave him an IQ test and based on it..
they decided that he was too smart to get help with reading..his IQ
was higher than normal kids (which is often the case with kids that have ADHD).
He enjoys riding bike, playing soccer & football.
Science and math are his favorite subjects.
When he grows up he wants to be a Paleontologist (study Dinosaurs)
He has wanted to be this since he was 2 1/2 yrs old...
about died when he told me at that age..
mom I'm going to be a Paleontologist when I grow up...I just said huh?
Felt like a real idiot considering that I didn't know what that was..
Had to have my 2 1/2yr old explain it to me!
He hasn't changed his career goals so far...maybe one day he will..
but for now...they remain the same!

Haley Rochelle...

This is my oldest daughter..She is 10 yrs old..a very talented artist.
She just finished her first year in cheerleading..we had a blast!
She is into horses, and animals, as I said before she is a well
rounded girl, she varies between being my "tomboy" to being a little girl!
Her dream in life is to one day own a farm..and have horses and tons of animals!
She is always finding some animal, or insect and playing with it.
She has been known (when she was younger) to catch and keep tons of
baby frogs and frogs of all sizes..
most of the baby one's ended up dying, she would take them up to her dresser
and put them in her drawer to keep them safe..
then bring them to me petrified and ask if they were still alive.
We adopted a rule...you can look and handle for a very short while..
then you need to release them.

When she was about 3yrs old..she loved worms..and would always be found with one...

Her uncle thought it would be a cute idea to tell her to put them in her pocket
so mommy can find them in the dryer...well she took his advice....
All I can say is YUCK!!!!!
I'm pretty sure she will become a vetranian when she gets older..but only time will tell!
Emma Catherine...

This is my youngest..and biggest surprise, Emma!

We thought we were all done having kids until 7yrs later...
then I found out I was having another! About went into shock!
She is an absolute JOY to have, and I'm so glad we had her!
She is the funniest, smartest kid I have seen!
I'm not just saying that because she's mine!
She is in preschool, and she loves it!
She's known how to say her alphabet since she was 2.
She can recite the Pledge of Alligence and her address.
Her teachers love her!
If I would of started having kids at the age I had her,
then I would of been alot easier on my son!
Look at that smile..couldn't it just melt your heart?
Sure does mine and the rest of the family's!
