Vehicle battle & status images

Why so many pages of this obscure pirate game? Why not? I wanna corner the non-existent interest market on this thing. Anything after this page will be an image omake because I don't really think I need to compile anything more image-wise for this.

So these are the vehicle battle images along with a couple of status screens. Just to help complete the set. Collect them all!

A battle on the Land Rover. This is on Motavia. The blast effect looks good. This is the scorpius enemy. It is in the original game as well. But it is not a vehicle encounter there. In this game however you can encounter the same enemies on vehicles as you can on foot. Vehicle travel is usually easier and safer in areas with more powerful monsters. But you won't get any EXP. Just meseta.

This one's on the Ice Digger. But here each vehicle has the same interface graphic. The only thing that changes is the SP amount and how much damage you do. The first choice on the menu is a single target attack. The second choice is a multi-target attack that does very slightly reduced damage. The third choice is to run away.

There's those snake enemies again. This time two of them. This battle is on the Hydrofoil. It's only use in this game is traveling to Soldiers' Temple. The other locations like Uzo and Vahal Fort don't exist. And even if you wanted to travel around the sea most of it is comprised of solid, impassable tiles anyway. Dezolis has more passable sea. And it's totally useless there.

Here are some gators. Or crocodiles or whatever. They are one of the enemies unique to this version of the game. I don't know if they are ripped from another game or are original creations. But due to this being a pirate there's a decent chance they were ripped. Although I've never seen them elsewhere. If I have I don't remember. I'm not sure why this game has these sorts of enemies. They don't really fit. They look out of place among the others that are based on the original version. Maybe they just wanted to pad out the roster. Or attempted to make this version look superior by claiming it had never before seen enemies. Either way, these things sure are garishly cute.

The equip screen. The top number is attack and the bottom number is defense. I have the cursor on the weapon Rune has equipped. But the top two slots are helmet and armor. If you press "A" on one of these three slots the cursor will move to the small box on the lower left. The top choice is equip, the middle is unequip and the bottom is exit. In order to equip another item you must unequip the current one. The graphical glitch on Rune's name is just something that randomly happens.

Here is the status screen. Featuring Chaz. The top number by the character portrait is the character's age (Rika is 12 for some reason). And the bottom is the current level. The box below is is self explanatory. It displays current/max HP and TP along with the current amount of EXP and the amount needed to level up. On the right we have stats. Nothing can be changed via equipment save for attack and defense. So the other stats will only increase via leveling up. I'm not sure what the first one is. Dexterity? But by the looks of who has what in terms of points the second stat is mental and the third is agility. And of course rounding this all out is the money box on the lower right. Can't buy anything if you don't have enough meseta.
