Matter is Just a Word
The Holy Bible, King James Version, Genesis, Chapter 1: "And God said,...". All faiths (that I am aware of, but if you know of one that doesn't, email me, I love learning something new) acknowledge a Creator, that with just a word, spoke into existence all of creation, and causes changes in that creation with just another spoken word. It is a basic accepted "fact" that this is how a spiritual being does things. Now, if you are a spiritual being yourself, granted not as awesome as a divine creator, then wouldn't you be able to effect matter with your word. You make agreements with other people using "your word". You have "just a word” with the boss, or someone else in a position that makes a difference, to hopefully effect a situation. You daydream and talk about your daydreams, discussing and planning how to make them real. This is using words. Those words one day become real. When you accept what you are saying, truly believe it, that is when your word becomes matter. All inventors have talked about their inventions before they were invented, when they were ideas, when the idea was nothing more than words. In organized religions, there is the liturgy, the chants and prayers. All words. All with the sincere desire of the heart behind them. All with the faith that the "words" will have the power to succeed, to change, or create matter.
Words have always been considered powerful, whether a chant in a secret language or the "rumor" that one school girl starts about another. The word is power. It causes us to focus our creative energy and to create matter. It allows us to, in a limited way; communicate our ideas and feelings to others, which helps us to enlist their energies in building our creation. Sometimes though, outside energies maybe stronger than our own and cause our creation to ... "mutate"... into something other than what you see with your mind's eye. We will talk about how to control this problem later.
