I apologize for the lack of updates the past several
days. I'm sure you realize why I hadn't updated, but a lot has been going
on, and this website shot down in my list of priorities. But for now, this
update is gonna be up for a few days. It's my way of paying respect to
Katy... god, she was a great person, she was a true fighter. It's hard
to accept the fact that she's not around anymore... but the way I see it,
she still IS around. She's around in all the memories we have of her; she's
around in our hearts. And yes, she will be missed... dearly missed. But
I think it's in a Blues Traveler song, they say "a heart like yours, it
never dies." Well, I think that's true. I think that somewhere Katy lives
on. Hell, I KNOW it. You can't look at her eyes in pictures and tell me
that that sparkle is gone forever. She's around, and when you realize that,
you'll never in fact be without her.

Lyric of the Day - "If I Go Away" by Savatage
I found this on Katy's
web journal and it's kinda like a message to those who knew her..
"If I go away
What would still remain of me?
The ghost within your eyes?
The whisper in your sighs?
You see...
Believe
And I'm always there"
Poem of the Day - On the headstone of Susie Clemens,
Mark Twain's Daughter
"Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here.
Warm summer wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light ~
Goodnight, Dear Heart,
Goodnight, Goodnight.."
As for the Song of the Week, it was one
of Katy's favorites...
