December 9, 2002 - historical bombing
I was telling Larry, that today was the first time I was at a workplace and said to myself, "Damn, it's six o'clock already, I don't want to have to leave." I feel like I'm catching on moderately well at gig, or at least with few hints of total incompetence. As far of the rest of my day, it pretty much sucked. I bombed a history test because I must have completely forgot we had one. That class just doesn't work for me. I mean, even though it's not my thing, history's an okay subject in general, but I don't function well with packets and worksheets. They don't help me at all... I learned so much better in Mr. Kelley's class. I guess it's really no excuse for not doing well, since it's mostly laziness that keeps me from learning the stuff. I should just focus a bit more in school in general. Blah, 11 days til break.

This is one of my favorite paintings at Cleveland Museum of Art. It's André Masson's "Don Quixote and the Chariot of Death"... 'nuff said.

STaRLiT3eb 1327: well, tomorrow will be better
December 11, 2002 - no wonder steve is so skinny
Hmm... Well, my site was down a couple days there, but it seems to be working fine now. I had no reason not to update Sunday or yesterday except that I've been lacking IOTDs. I just need to find some good sources, I guess. Anyways, things are going pretty well in my life... There isn't really one area where things are bad or anything, I'd say. Anyways, tonight is the Orchestra/Varsity Chorale concert. I almost forgot I had to play, but the director came up to me yesterday and reminded me that I'll be getting out of 4th and 5th period today for a rehearsal. Good story, Ross. Anyway, I'm kinda in a drab mood right now... not really a bad mood, but I'm kinda just like "BLAH..." Maybe it's just because it's early when I'm doing this. That's all for now.

(just kidding, steve)

Quote of the Day - Kate Chopin, The Awakening

She wanted something to happen -- something, anything: she did not know what.
December 12, 2002 - rubber pretzel
Not a whole lot of news today. Betsy's sick; she may have mono. That means I may have it too... However, I typically don't think I have any illness unless a doctor tells me so and/or I can no longer move. In other news, I'm searching far and wide for a name for my new musical group with Steve-O, Cameron, and Jason... we're a cuartet of an alto sax, a tenor sax, a baritone, and a trumpet, and we are currently working on Christmas music, and may soon be working on covering 80's and early 90's songs. Nonetheless, if you have any ideas, send them below.

This is a memorial dedicated to the Jews who lost their lives during the Holocaust. Not too much to say about this one...

Suggestion Box of the Day

What should the group name be?
December 14, 2002 - that's telekinesis, kyle
Dah... I don't know how it's possible. Sometimes I confuse myself when I'm moved to so little by so much, only to find out that I can be moved so much by so little. And I know I don't make much sense right now. But not a whole lot does make much sense. In life it's like some things will never happen... but the real bitch of it all is that the things that will never happen are the things you want the most. Well, I hope I haven't confused anyone too much... that's all for now.
