July 14, 2002 - work in progress
I'm no longer feeling crowded... so that's good. The Other Stuff section is coming along nicely now. And the Archive is now open on the Misc page. Oh, btw, don't forget to take the new poll!!

Steve-O drew this for me b/c I needed an image of the day. The official title is: "One Friday Evening" I like it... Steve's quite the talented artist! If anyone else has a drawing or something that they want to submit, check out the new submissions page!

AIM Conversation of the Day
therosser1022: ELPPIN
Supastarz14: what is that
therosser1022: nipple backwards, bold, italicized, underlined, and in yellow with a red background
Supastarz14: oh of course
Supastarz14: i was just about to do the same thing, you beat me to it

July 15, 2002 - therosser.com!!!!
No more "(I hope)" as far as the title goes... It's official. You can now reach my page at therosser.com. And the new forum is up in beta mode... Please give it a try, and if it works okay, I'll add a link to the Misc page. As for other news, I've been working on a few things for Battlefield Rumpelstiltskin (the band i'm in)... and once Larry gets back from Texas on Tuesday, the Music page will be working (i hope). That's all the news for now.

Image of the Day

This is a picture of the moon setting somewhere... The other day, the gang and I were hanging out at the beach and we saw the moon setting over the lake and we thought the world was ending or something. It went from bright white to orange to red to nothing. (btw, sorry for the lack of interesting IOTDs lately... if anyone has any good images, send them to me

Stupid Joke of the Day

A ship was carrying a cargo of yo-yos, bound for San Francisco from Hong Kong.
It was hit by a typhoon and sank twenty-three times.
July 16, 2002 - involving you
Well, now that the site is on somewhat solid ground, I think it should be more interactive. Any ideas? E-mail me some at ihaveanidea@therosser.com. And don't forget about the new forum. Post anything there! Comments to share with me, comments to share with everyone, quotes, lyrics, anything you want! Depending on how the forum works this first week or so, I may keep it, or I may ditch it. We'll just have to see. In other news, I got my Pictures from MA Camp developed. Check 'em out.

Image of the Day

This one comes from Chelsea... She didn't draw it, but it's a picture of one bad ass sloth. If I saw this sloth coming down the street, I'd definitely turn around and run (not that I'd have to run very quickly... but that's besides the point.)

Audio Clip of the Day - sloth.wav
Since we're on the subject of sloths, remember Sloth from the Goonies? This is a clip from his triumphant entrance near the end... Speaking of which, Steve and I saw Sloth today at Taco Bell. Unfortunately, he had already arrived before we got there, so we didn't get to hear this triumphant entrance music.

July 17, 2002 - think about it
I went to six flags yesterday... did a lot of fun stuff, but not really involving the rides. The place is generally EXTREMELY overpriced, actually. But good thing my friends and I are easily amused. Anyway, I was thinking about the quote of the day a couple days ago. "We got to get thinkin' about doin' stuff that means something." from Grapes of Wrath. And I was thinking about what I did today, and how in the scheme of things, this senseless humor is really meaningless... But then again everything is meaningless in the scheme of things. But I guess that's really what gives life meaning anyways: the fact that everything is meaningless. Agree? Disagree? Think I'm just stupid? Let me know in the new forum

Image of the Day

Well, I got this one from the cellar's image of the day forum. I'm kinda running low on sources for this Images of the Day... So if you have any cool pictures, or know of a site that has some, let me know at iotd@therosser.com.

Quote of the Day - "whoa, it has balls?!?"
That one is from Steve-O... He was looking at a dog and was bewildered by the fact that it hadn't been neutered. I guess the frequent reminders from Bob Barker didn't get to that dog owner.

July 18, 2002 - nothing too exciting
It's been a drab news day, so there's not much to talk about. I was thinking today, and all of a sudden this idea popped into my head. Life flies by, and things come and go... but through it all only one thing really matters. And that is the end of my thought. For some reason, I can't think of what that "one thing" that matters is... maybe it's cake or something. What do you think? Tell me in the forum

It's the strangest thing... for some reason, this picture was on my hard drive and I have NO idea how it got there. The building looks kinda futuristic if you ask me.

Movie Quote of the Day - "someday we'll get our big break... we just gotta keep our eyes open"
We watched Dumb and Dumber last night, and that's one of the last lines of the movie. Ironically, it's not a dumb quote at all.

July 19, 2002 - the future was when?
Well, I gave the whole forum idea the ax. However, I am looking for a better guestbook, because this one kinda sucks. Anyways... As far as my personal life goes, I hung out with Larrold and Stephanie last night, and we got in a big debate about stuff. I'm not one to put my ideas and beliefs into words well, and I don't see much of a point to it, so I didn't say a WHOLE lot. But man, it was wild. I guess you'd have to be there. Alright, that's about it then. (I know, my website's boring)

Image of the Day

That's my season pass for six flags... I think it's a pretty good picture of me, don't you? The Yo! Brooklyn showed up nicely, as well as the size of my nostrils.

AIM Conversation of the Day - Ross and Larry
therosser1022: in the future, i'll meet too many girls and then ruin the friendships with the girls i have now
therosser1022: and those are the ones that count
therosser1022: not the dozens and dozens of girls i'll sleep with in the future
therosser1022: hell, i should say the hundreds and hundreds
therosser1022: of HOT SEXY girls i'll sleep with in the future
Issiran: heh, yes of course ross

July 20, 2002 - gets me frust'rated
People take things too seriously sometimes... And I find myself easily annoyed with people at times, and also eager to be aggravating (if that makes any sense at all). I think one of the easiest and hardest things for people to do is to let go of their frustration. It's easy because a lot of times, it's over stupid stuff and letting it go makes everything so much better. And it's hard because once you're in a bad mood, you stay in that mood, especially if you're stubborn like me. Once in a while, I'll make a resolution in life... where I'll see something I don't like about myself and resolve to improve that thing. Sure, it may be fruity, but I don't care. It helps me become the kind of person I am and the kind of person I love being. Anyways, I just made a resolution to not be so easily frustrated... To live my life and let things slide at times. I have a lot more fun when I'm not in a bad mood for something stupid. Alright, that's the end of the LONG update for today. Oh, and the Music page is kinda up.

Image of the Day

Speaking of frustration, Avril Lavigne says "frustrated" so sexily in her song Complicated. I bought her CD yesterday and I love it. Once again, sure it may be fruity, but I don't care. She looks kinda scary in this picture... but I like her music.

Lyric of the Day: Avril Lavigne - Anything But Ordinary

"To walk within the lines
would make my life so boring
I want to know that I have been to the extreme
So knock me off my feet,
Come on now give it to me,
Anything to make me feel alive."
