January 19, 2003 - hands off!
Looks like this should be a pretty good week for me. No school tomorrow, and then midterms Tues-Thurs. It's not exactly a 'break'.. but it should be a much more relaxed week than say... last week. Although, my mousetrap car for Physics is due Friday, so I should probably get started on that so I get a decent grade. I'm going to Disney On Ice with Betsy today... Eh, it might be awkward for me, I guess. I'm probably gonna want to be affectionate, but I'll have to restrain myself. But ever since we broke up, my social life seems to have been lacking... probably just because I've alienated some of my friends while dating her. But yeah, that's all the rambling for now. I have an interview with Harvard to attend.

It has been shown recently that 83% of left-handed people believe in an owl-like god.
A staggering 97% of these left-handers believe this owl to be named Keith.

January 20, 2003 - mlk is a-ok
Man, every time MLK day comes around, I just think of my sister's essay she had to write about Martin Luther King... and it was hilarious, because it had to be like 500 words or something, so she continuously put "Doctor Martin Luther King, Junior" like every other sentence to count as five words... and "Happy Birthday Doctor Martin Luther King Junior!" at least three or four times. But yeah, that's really the only (semi) interesting thing I have to say today. So that's all for now. Oh, and Happy Birthday Doctor Martin Luther King Junior!

January 21, 2003 - dude, there are huge rings on Uranus
Not a whole lot of time to update today, I have to leave for midterms. I spent a lot of yesterday and today working on my mousetrap car for Physics. And I actually looked up some terms for my history midterm. I was surprised with myself. But yeah, maybe I'll have more to say tomorrow.

The ringed planet on the left is Uranus... Only today did I find out that it has at LEAST twenty-one moons; seven of which are named for characters from Shakespeare's The Tempest:  Miranda, Ariel, Prospero, Sycorax, Stephano, Caliban, and Setebos. Of the remaining moons, most are named for various other characters in Shakespeare's works; two are named for characters in Alexander Pope's poem "The Rape of the Lock"; one is currently unnamed, known only as "2001U1" (I'm hoping they name it Hamlet); and the last one is named for the Real World: San Fransisco star, Puck.

January 22, 2003 - what you always wanted to know about mexican food but were afraid to ask.
The second day of exams went alright... History is never my best subject, so we'll see how I did on that one. As for my mousetrap car, I think my wheels may be too big because there isn't enough power to keep the car going. So I'll get some smaller wheels tomorrow. As you can probably tell, my life isn't very eventful. Betsy and I have almost officially been apart for a month, and I think we're both handling it well. I think she'll be much happier with Jason, and we'll be much better as friends. And as for my love life? I'm just living the big pimpin' single life (except for the big pimpin' part).

January 23, 2003 -  late update
Sheesh, yet another late update for me. I've been working on my mousetrap car for most of the day... And I've only destroyed one mousetrap, like $18 worth of syrofoam, one saw, a toy from my childhood, a radio, an oar, and a miniature baby figurine. But yeah, it was a pretty good day for me today, and that's all I've got to say.

January 24, 2003 -  nerdy jokes are an integral part of our society
Well, I went to the diving meet tonight... which was decently entertaining. It was cool to watch the people I know do things so cool like those twisty flippy dive things. Anyways, the news area is low, it's another late update, and I don't know what else to say. My mouse trap car worked. Yay.
