Song of the Week: Duran Duran - The Reflex

October 6, 2003 - up and down and back again
Sheesh! My weekend was rather busy... Between concerts, work, coming to Case, going to Columbus, and hanging out at denny's, I was hardly home at all. So I apologize for my lack of updating, but I'm once again back on track. It was nice to see a lot of my friends this weekend... I was worried that everyone would be different or something, but for the most part it was just like old times. I would have liked to spend more time with people, but alas, there isn't enough time in one weekend. I suppose I'll see everyone again roundabout winter break time.  Went down to OSU yesterday with Larrold to drop Ashley off... That place is HUGE. I'm planning on returning in a few weeks to actually spend some time down there, so that should be exciting. I also saw the notorious P.A.T., which was also an enjoyable experience. Alright, I've gotta get ready for Sociology now.. We had a midterm Friday, so I'm kinda anxious to see how I did. Later for now.

Quote of the Day - Malcolm X

You're not to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it.

October 7, 2003 - sad songs say so much
Had two tests today... If I calculated correctly, the maximum I can get on my math exam is a 65.3%. I'm just hoping the curve is like 75% or something, because that would be fantastic. But hey, as it has become my new saying as of late, it'll all come out in the wash. I tend not to worry about things from the past that I can't change... or things from the future either. I mean, I keep them in the back of my mind, but I pretty much focus my worries on the now... and even then, I'm very easygoing about it.

October 8, 2003 - jingle all the way
So as I was driving into Euclid today, I realized that something on my car is loose. As the title of today's entry suggests, some piece was "jingling" all the way home. I had Alex take a look at my car, and apparently the muffler was bad or something... So he took it off. Now whenever I drive, I feel like I am in the Indy 500 or something. It brings back memories of high school, seeing all the kids with junky cars loudly escaping the parking lot.

Anyway, in other news, I had a lovely meal today at Chi-chi's with Paul and Cameron. We reminisced about our old times and whatnot, and it made me remember some of my most fun and memorable high school experiences. Ah, the ways we used to amuse ourselves... I'd describe a few here, but I'm sure words would not even explain those fantastic times. Or maybe it wasn't Paul or Cameron or anyone else that made those times so fun, maybe it was just the pure joy of being in band. (face.)

As the terminator of Gray Davis in the total recall in California, Arnold Schwarzenegger is no Junior. Some people may think he'll just be a complete [Kindergarten] cop-out, but I'm sure he'll [Mr.] freeze the failing economy and act as an Eraser toward the current deficit.

Arnold Quote of the Day

I love Thanksgiving turkey...it's the only time in Los Angeles that you see natural breasts.
