What is the history of my mind game?
1. At the beginning
My mind game has had a long history. Since I was about 4, I've been involved in playing computer games, lots of computer games. Throughout the years, I've had Atari, PC, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Playstation, and lately the Gamecube. After playing games for so long, I've always had the dream of creating my own game. Currently today, I can almost completely make any game that I've played long enough, but I'm short on one key thing: computer programming. I first starting dreaming of doing this even before the Sega Genesis came out in 1990 or 1991. I never really got to even start on making a new game until 2001, yet, I've had my mind game since 1997!
Around 1990 or so, when the game series called "Mario Brothers" was a popular game for the Nintendo, I played that game so much until I literally memorized all stages and worse yet, when I was at school, I've been acting as if I was the character in that game as I was seriously addicted to it. After I got involved with a different game, I got addicted to it so much that I did the same. After about 4 to 5 years like this, when I was actively playing the Sega Genesis, instead of playing as the character as myself, I played the game in my mind instead. This was the first "mind game", but it wasn't my creation. I soon realized it's potential and by 1996, when my Status System* was first developed, I started to play some other games, but my mind game still didn't exist as it does now. It was 1 year later that I actually discovered what I should do.
2. My mind game was born!
In early 1998, I got so interested in going to the Bahamas because one of my "enemies" went there and got interested from it after seeing some pictures of the area. I've been wanting to go since. I also learned a very weak version of ESP called "sense" which allows me to send out "signals" of remote areas that I cannot see. This was the first break through. Although, when I first tried sensing, my range limit was only 30 feet, way too small, but, as the ability leveled up** the range increased very slowly over time. Then I learned an upgraded version of "sense" which was "remote sense ESP". This ability started with a limitation of 4000 miles in any direction [yes, that means directly through the Earth, not around it. When I tried to view the Bahamas using this, it was way too fuzzy. Of course, a level 1 ability cannot be depended on too well, but by year 2000, the range of 4000 miles increaed to just over 8000 and today, it's about 12,000. Since the Earth's diameter is only 7918 miles, I cannot tell what my real range is. Getting up that high is nearly impossible. In fact, the fastest speed I've ever reached was only 3800 mph [about 3400 mph going down and around 1700 northwest over a large desert with a very high cliff], barely into the hypersonic range. I'd need to be about 4000 miles up above the ground, more than 8 times higher than any astronauts nowadays goes, in order to verify the 12,000-mile range. Get this, in my mind game, no matter where I am in my mind game and when I look, there is no Moon, Sun, nor any of the stars, but the light still exists. The reason for them not being there is distance. The Moon is 238,000-some miles from Earth, almost 20 times the estimated range I have. This remote sensing ability has gone from only being 5% accurate to just over 30%.
When my mind game was born, it had many limitations, mainly due to my weak ability, though, raising the power of the ability by using it wasn't even close to enough. Most of my ideas came from video games at first. As time went on, I've developed my own ideas. One new and recent one is that of using energy to blast at high speeds. This is called the "speed blast". The animated image above demonstrates this very clearly. You must be standing still and on the ground in order to use it. Once used, you blast off at very high speeds, 300 mph as the animation above shows in the top right corner.
3. My modern mind game
My mind game, today is much more sophisticated, not only because my ability has grown in power, but my ideas on how it should work was the major advance. Today, high speeds, very long, supersonic falls, and countless special abilities and spells make up my mind game today. Many of these are going into the game I'm developing and my stories I write. My mind game today is a tool for my story-writing, as far as coming up with ideas for my scripts to come, my game I'm developing [if only I knew computer programming, I'd probably write up a rough draft program for the game in about 6 to 9 months...], and not much more.
