What is the Fifth Status like today?
1. Introduction
The Fifth Status is probably the least mentioned of all status bars. It's even hardly mentioned directly in my scripts. Reading this section is not a neccessity, but you can if you want.
The Fifth Status tells you how you're doing on status effects good and bad as well as list warnings. There are good status effects like happy, and related feelings, bad status effects are like a disease in a weak condition, and very bad status effects are often life-threatening are of diseases in very bad condition. Also, starting in mid- to late-July of 2003, the Fifth Status now displays warnings. Then, they are given a color code with a cooresponding level.
2. The colorings for condition
There are 510 levels on each side. Going from worst to best, black is of color code 000000*, having 256 levels going through progressively lighter shades of red to true red, or FF0000. Then going through 255 levels to the neutral point, yellow [color code FFFF00] through the spectrum. From yellow, going through 255 more levels to green [00FF00] going through the spectrum then 255 final levels to white [FFFFFF] going through progressively lighter greens.
Good status effects are status effects of colors F0FF00 or better. This is level 16 and higher. Bad status effects are of colors FF4000 to FFF000, which is from levels 192 to 16. Very bad status effects are colors worse than FF4000, or level 192. Good status effects are of colors F0FF00 to FFFFFF. There is no level 0. FFFF00 is actually level 1 on the bad status area, something so minor it's not of worry and doesn't get displayed.
Warnings are done just a bit differently. Warnings start at level 16, as before, only with FFF000 as the value. Once a warning reaches level 256, it'll automatically become a bad status effect at level 64, or FFC000 for the color. Warnings generally include basic things like a hunger warning, thirst warning, a low stamina warning, etc..
