The Endless Mud Lake

This is a story created by my mind game* and is based on scenes from a dream I had on May 26, 2004**. Because the plot of the dream has been about 90% forgotten but the scenes only 30% forgotten, I've tried to recreate it with my mind game while going to bed for several days creating events and the such and trying to find the best way to combine all the events. The character whom is referenced as "I" is the main character I use in my mind game, who is similar to Knuckles as explained here, except the size of a human instead of about 40% the size.

It was a normal school day. Swap between classes like crazy every hour and learn whatever was next in the teacher's lesson plans. Nothing out of the ordinary.

As 5th hour gym started [just after lunch], the class was getting ready to start the class. You had five minutes to get dressed. I started to race toward the gym then, just as I entered the gym, the tardy bell rang. I barely made it. Of course, running at 7 mph makes a big difference, especially if you're running really late.

The entire class was, strangely as it was, not in the gym, not even the teacher was around. I opened the door to the dressing room and noticed a strange portal-like thing. I went through it and suddenly, I appeared in an area that was very scary looking. Rivers of water 2 feet deep at the deepest in a strange grid-like pattern stretching much further than my mind radar map*** could even show. Of course, it helps if you zoom out so I did to about the 11th level as I was at the third level. Still, nothing noticable. Zooming out to level 16 wasn't good enough either, but then, while playing with my mind radar map, I spotted green and yellow dots bunched up in like one pixel. I zoomed in to the 7th level and saw a line of dots. Looking in that direction, I saw the class that had mysteriously disappeared. I started to run over to that area at about 12 mph.

As I reached the area, the entire class looked zombified. They were like zombies. I casted scan3 on them and found that there was nothing wrong with them. Realizing that scan3 doesn't display the 5th status, I sensed it and found out that they were under the influence of a mysterious being.

I wondered where they went so I followed them. I suddenly saw a sign that said "You must follow what everyone else is doing, otherwise it's death". Not being scared as I was immune to damage and death, I just followed the group not doing much of anything out of the ordinary, though I kept a constant eye on my mind radar map.

About a mile in, I started to get bored. For some unknown reason, I still didn't have a clue where the class was headed, but deeper and deeper into this even scarier land zone. Scattered everywhere were gates made of steel bones. Really short they were, not even 2 feet high. I studied the mind radar map at zoom level 11 and noticed that there was a white area in the direction the group was facing. Using the navigation tools, I moved the map over to that area and zoomed in to level 8, a pretty big close up. This area resembled a volley ball court in some way. The fence looked as if it seriously needed repair, but there were no border lines and the such. That fence was still about 4500 feet away.

Wanting a better view, I jumped 90 feet in the air. From this height, I could barely distinguish the volleyball court. It was too small and too far away to get the details. My mind radar map only gives a two-dimensional view of the area. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a dark red [About this color], 2/3 transparent bright being appeared in front of me. Though it didn't seem like much, until it said, in a scary way, "Ha ha! You didn't follow the rules! Now face death!". Bad as it seemed, indeed, a death spell was casted. A grim reaper like monster appears from the ground below and tries to cause death. Nothing happened but a red 0 popped out of me. This was because I'm immune to damage and death taking zero hit points of damage. Realizing that this object was a threat, I quickly casted the ultimate spell, ultima6. Ultima6 wipes out just about anything with very little effort. Indeed, it caused a load of damage with the object disappearing. A red 6.77908E77791 pops out where the monster was before disappearing. That sort of damage is only possible with ultima6, unless you got about that much in spell power, which is so much energy that you could kiss the Earth good bye forever as it'll become nothing but raw energy!

As I finished the simple battle with a possible spirit, I saw a sign just to my right. It had "cross water to get to volleyball court; if you lose, you die" written on it with yellow-green letters [About this color]. This sign gave me a big warning in my mind. I better try to stop the group from playing this game. Though a life-cure spell would come in mighty handy anyway, prevention is always better.

As I ran up to where the leader was, I convinced him to stop and go back the other way. That, however, didn't work, so I had to think of something else. The group was just about to have to wade through some pretty, sparkling blue water. One of the group members said, just as they started walking into the water, "You are now going to meet your doom". Knowing that I got rid of that monster, I wasn't going to, unless another one was ready.

Instead of following the group, I simply jumped up and glid‡† across the shallow river only 600 feet wide. I soon landed and spotted a really large building about 30 by 40 feet and 8 feet high with "torture chamber" written on it. Fearing that this was a bad area, I quickly casted ice36 on it. Though it did turn into a sparkling block for only a second, until the heat from the atmosphere shattered it†† afterward.

After waiting nearly 2.5 minutes for the group to actually walk across all that water, the leader was more than shocked that I was still around and have already crossed it. The leader then started to ponder over some tough questions to him, but with easy answers. How did I cross the water so quickly... and without even being wet? I then told him that I'm immune to death and damage and I glid across the water to avoid getting wet. Hearing of this, the leader now thinks that the entire group is now in danger because of what I did.

Then, out of nowhere, a dark red spirit-like object appears just like the thing I ultima6'ed before. It said, "You do not have the right to speak in this area". I then told it, "Yeah right. Care for a taste of ultima6?" Just as I finished, the death spell was executed on me again, but, as before, had no effect. Then came my attack of ultima6 and the spirit disappeared with a red 2.21898E78389 popping out of it.

Seeing what just happened, the leader becomes big time shocked. I tell him exactly what happened and why I'm able to do this. Seemingly convinced enough, I tell the leader that this area is very dangerous and that the group should exit immediately. The leader still didn't obviously get convinced enough, so I thought that casting a stop spell on all but the leader would convince him otherwise. Realizing my real power I had, the leader was then convinced. I casted heal to remove the stop status effect. The leader then told me that I could be second in command. I declined the offer.

After about 10 minutes of communication and proving my powers, the leader was finally convinced to leave the area. Turning the entire group around, I watched what happened from a distance. Suddenly, a huge mess of spirits appear that my whole field of view was almost completely filled, except the sky where the spirits obviously couldn't be. I casted ultima6 before anything happened and every one of those spirits got wiped out. There were so many popup numbers that appeared that, if this was a video game, the game would run at a very slow framerate. Though they're only there for 1.1 seconds bouncing up and down 3 times, the whole area soon was cleaner than clean could get, except the decorations and the water.

Upon this happening, I noticed that the water was rising about a half an inch per second. I casted ice36 on the water. Though it seemed to have worked, until, just all of a sudden, the ice exploded and the water seemingly jumped about 12 feet high. This was obviously due to the pressures. I then casted ultima6. The water then disappeared entirely. I told the group to run for it. I casted superhaste on the entire group, including the leader, but not myself. The group then ran at 30 mph with about the same energy as running at 7.5 mph, a huge difference. I started to run along at 35 mph eventually leading the group back. I took out my mind radar map realizing that it closed itself automatically because I wasn't using it and zoomed out. I then made it trace the path I went and the path appeared. I adjusted the course so that the group was headed right for the exit.

After about a minute while the water was gone, it suddenly reappeared seeping through the ground. I stopped then casted ultima6 on it before anything else happened. It, like before disappeared. Because I got left behind taking 4 seconds to cast the spell, a typical time usage, I ran along at 40 mph until I caught up. Upon getting to the gate, a huge monster three times the size of a human appeared and appeared to have a blue-cyan color [About this color] to it and 1/4 transparent. Knowing this was another fight, I was definitely prepared.

The guardian of the gate casted death on all. A red "death" popped out of everyone but myself, in which I got a zero, and the guardian itself, which didn't get any popup number as he didn't target himself. I casted life-cure immediately causing a big pool of green numbers to appear then immediately followed by ultima6. I was shocked to realize that the guardian was immune to ultima6, so I thought of using the next best spell. Holy6 works fine on evil spirits, more than just fine. Before I got a chance to cast it, the guardian then casted death on all again. I used life-cure then holy6. Holy6 wiped out that beast and the gate was free and open.

I then got the group to go through the gate and I went myself after everyone went through. Suddenly, the gate disappeared and the day was back to normal. The teacher, strange as it was, was still in the dressing room. This all happened in, what, 15 seconds? Noticing that the clock on the gym wall wasn't working, I sensed for the nearest working clock. Yep, 40 minutes passed, just as I would've thought. Then the class got started. I casted time compression on the group and jumped back to the time before this happened down a different path of events.

Footnotes:
* My mind game is my futuristic video-game-like game I play in my mind often. To learn more, read this report ** This story is based on a dream I had, however, because it is so vaguely remembered, I recreated it using my mind game and enhanced it. To read about my dreams, go here.
*** The mind radar map is something I actually have, only without the radar part, but it's capabilities are very weak due to it's low level and my very low supply of spell power. This ability lets you track where you are at any given moment as well as where other objects are. My ability in this dream is much more powerful than what I really have. Here's a comparison:

My real abilityAbility in my mind game
Range30 feet using 1800 spell power per hourindefinate; likely from a few femtometers [quadrillionths of a meter [a quadrillionth is a decimal, 14, zeros then a 1, or .000 000 000 000 001]] to the edge of the universe
Object location30 feet using about 2400 SP per hourCan determine if those are evil, good, or neutral at an any range
Mapping80 feet using 2000 SP per hourless than a millionth per hour
Update rate2 seconds using 800 additional SP per hour, or 5 seconds*about 60 times a second
Zoom3 levels, all very close upsAs shown here

Table footnotes:
* At my real ability's full potential, it would use nearly 3 spell power every second, meaning I can only use this ability for no more than 2 minutes.

The maximum height of the jumps is actually 91 2/3 feet. You start at 50 mph and you decelerate at 20 mph per second to 0 mph. Damage is measured in hit points. Hit points is the life force of a living thing or the amount of damage matter can take. To learn more about hit points, Read section 3 here †† If you were to bathe something in a really cold liquid, like liquid nitrogen, then drop it, the object breaks, even if, at normal temperature, the object can't break. Ice36 deals with temperatures far colder than liquid nitrogen at it's boiling point. In fact, the ice36 spell puts the object at a temperature of absolute zero for about 7 seconds [time stops with this spell so it's actually for 0 seconds]. This cools it down to a temperature of around -400°F, roughly 60° short of absolute zero. Because of the exposure to a temperature of roughly 70°F, an object at -400°F would expand so rapidly that the object would shatter into pieces, possibly even with a small explosion. ‡† The glide ability is something used both in my mind game and stories. It allows constant acceleration at 5 mph per second to up to 800 mph top speed. It's almost like flying but utilizes gravity to pull you forward, not down. It becomes ineffective in mediums at 1.4 atmospheres [the density of the atmosphere at sea level times 1.4; drag can be entirely eliminated up to this density. This means that gliding will not work underwater effectively [the faster you go, the slower your deceleration is, again, limited to 800 mph.].
