Feller Musings
Thursday, 18 November 2004

I'm a bit pressed for time, it being a few days until faux Thanksgiving, and me without a turkey, at least in my refrigerator.

A couple of observations.

Murray seems a bit confused. First he answers a question addressed to thirdmain, then in the answer he bemoans the fact that some group members may have left because of being sniped at. I could have sworn that only a few days before he had gone off on poor kuddlebug in a rather demeaning way for expressing opinions on the appropriate use of alcohol and the main criterion she used for evaluating the qualifications of world leaders. I must have misread something.

Hmm, Todore also seems to be a bit peckish this morning. I hope he's more lenient with me when I post a deer-in-the-headlights sort of message.

Back in a few days.

Testing, testing...is this gonna fly?

To your family and friends Don, please accept our sincere best wishes from this family in Pierrefonds for a memorable Thanksgiving complete with the feast of your choice hopefully enjoyed in good health.

Re "a bit peckish" aka grumpy, the devil made me do it.
I'm only grumpy before, during and after meals...otherwise, I'm ok.

So now we blog about Feller. New, different and why not. Good on you Don for starting this.
I hate to sully this blog in it?s infancy but you have left me no choice with your posting of 18 Nov. Yes, I voiced MY opinion concerning a question that was directed to another. Since when has the posing of a question to a specific individual precluded anyone else from jumping in on the subject. I?m sure a review of the Deadmuscles era and also the Reunion Debates would reveal that all and sundry leapt into the fray unasked (a specific question directed to them, that is). I make no apologies for my intrusion. Mr. Thirdmain needs no help from me or anyone else in answering anything. If memory serves, you were the recipient of some of his verbiage.
About my ?going off? on K?bug, I admit that I did let loose a bit. This was prompted more from the sanctimonious tone of her reply to my OBVIOUS (eg, gross exaggeration and enlarged type) joking reference to no drinking at a function. Then she suggests that we would all be better off if all our politicos were steeped in the word of God. How does she know that they are not?
And now to the real burr under the saddle of my specific horse. One need only be alive these days, not necessarily doing deep research, to be aware of the miserable failings of ?men of religion? and ?religious Institutions?. Sex scandals, pedophilia, beatings, and so much other stuff so as to make one question the whole concept of anyone really living up to the biblical standard.
Our own dear Feller, wherein we were severely restricted from even talking to the opposite sex, let alone anything else, and where we now find out that the ordained minister who ?led? us in the paths of righteousness was having it off with the dean of girls. Both of these individuals being married to others at the time, which is yet another transgression isn?t it. So if these are the type of people that K?bug wants our leaders to emulate, I fear we shall be in dire straights.

There that?s off my chest now. I wish you the best with this site and should I be welcome following this little tirade, I?ll occasionally throw in a couple of pence worth.
