ROYAL CANADIAN SEA CADET CORPS FORT LENNOX  

15 September 1958 - 31 August 1959

September 1958                  

The Corps was formed and housed in a boarding school, Institut Feller College, located in Grande Ligne, QC, a few miles from St. Jean, QC.

October 1958 - February 1959  

The Corps was visited 3 times by:

28 April 1959 

RCSCC FORT LENNOX receives her Warrant.

30/31 May 1959 

The entire Corps paraded in full dress uniform at its namesake "Fort Lennox", where a Guard of Honour was mounted during daylight hours.  

10 June 1959 

1st Annual Inspection.  The Reviewing Officer was Commander George Manson,CD, RCN, Commanding Officer Sea Cadets, from Headquarters, Commanding Officer Naval Divisions, Hamilton, ON.  

Lieutenant S.G. May, R.C.S.C., donated two trophies to be known as "The Commanding Officer’s Challenge Trophies".  The first recipients were as follows: 

Most Proficient Division Trophy: Bonaventure         DPO A/PO2 Brooke Bodo
                                           Micmac (a tie)      
DPO A/PO2 John Bloxham   

Most Proficient Cadet Trophy: A/PO1 Bruce Hannah
