13/25 August 1961

17 Cadets traveled to HMCS ACADIA in North Sydney, Nova Scotia for summer training.  Even though the contingent from RCSCC FORT LENNOX scored 499.4 points out of a possible 500, an incredible 110.9 points higher than the winning score a year earlier, the Corps came second-overall in the race for the General Efficiency Trophy.  The winner, RCSCC VICTORY had a perfect score of 500!  They lost 0.6 points and the trophy due to a "dust bunny"!

On a more positive note, Able Cadet Murray Willson was voted the Most Efficient Cadet in competition with 550 other cadets.
