21 October 1961

Ceremonial Divisions and a March Past were held in connection with the Memorial of the Battle of Trafalgar and in conjunction with the schools 125th Anniversary Celebrations.

11 November 1961

Padre, The Venerable C.G. Hepburn, MC, DCL, Archdeacon of Ottawa, was special guest speaker at the Feller Remembrance Day services and he acted as Reviewing Officer for a Corps’ Inspection and March Past.

12 November 1961

The entire Corps took part in the City of St Jean Remembrance Day Ceremonies .

February 1962

Corps hosts a dinner for Lieutenant-Commander R.J. Mann, CD, RCN, Area Officer Sea Cadets, Quebec Area.

12 April 1962

Surgeon-Lieutenant Joe Senikas, R.C.S.C., MD, Medical Officer makes first official visit to the Corps as an Officer

12 May 1962

4th Annual Inspection.  The Reviewing Officer was:

Captain J.A.T.M. Jette, CD, NDC, PSM, RCN, Commandant, College Militaire Royal de St. Jean.

The Commanding Officer’s Challenge Trophies were awarded as follows: 

Most Proficient Division:  Haida  DPO A/PO1 JC Girodo

Most Proficient Cadet: A/PO1 Terrence Phillips and L/C Donald Ferguson  

12 - 26 August 1962

Another contingent of 16 cadets enjoyed summer training at HMCS ACADIA, North Sydney, NS.  This year the Fort Lennox cadets were separated and divided among several divisions.  Some of the Fort Lennox contingent were in the division that won the efficiency trophy, but the most proficient cadet trophy, won the previous two years by a Fort Lennox cadet, was not awarded.
