Alrighty, it all started out 2 days ago. My bud Danielle and I were supposed to go out with our friend Holly. She was supposed to pick us up when she got out of work at 9:30. So, Danielle and I are sitting around her house waiting for her, 9:30 rolls around..no Holly..10:30 rolls around, no Holly..Danielle finally just drops me off at home. At midnight, I hear a carhorn outside. Its Danielle and Holly. Guess she finally showed up huh?

Well, we decide to drive down the Berlin Turnpike and looks for some guys. We drive all the way down the damn pike and there's NO GUYS, NOT ONE! Then we see this highway that we've never been down before, and Danielle, being the smart person she is, dares Holly to go drive down it and find out where we end up. So we do it.. we drive for about 45 min.. we get off the highway. We stop at a 7-Eleven to refill on cappachino's and we FINALLY see some guys. There was 2 of 'em getting out of their car and Holly goes "Excuse me, umm, hi! Where the HELL are we?!" and they laughed and told us we were in Rocky Hill, which is kinda far from Meriden, where we live. We got our cappachinos and then headed outta there. We decided to take ANOTHER highway, which we had NO IDEA where it went, but hey, were gutsy girls, were stupid blondes, we decided to do it anyway. We drove for like 2 hours down this highway, and it had NO STREETLIGHTS anywhere! And we were the only car on the road cuz it was like 1:30 in the morning then. Aren't we cool?

Were driving and driving then we see a sign that says "Welcome to Rhode Island" WHAT THE FUCK? We ended up in RHODE ISLAND! Thats a tad bit far from Meriden. We drove around and found this really creepy street that had no streetlights and started driving down it. Danielle goes to roll down the window and I grabbed her from behind and starting screaming, I think she may have had a mild heart attack. Then we see 2 streets branching off of the one we were driving down, one was called "Whispering Pines" Holly does a freakin' 180 turn right then and there and starts roaring away back the way we came. You see, we have a street called "Whispering Pines" here too, and Holly is TERRIFIED of that street. She will absolutely not drive down it. Shes afraid the pines are gonna whisper at her. Once she saw that street, she flipped and that was the end of that.

We start driving around downtown and see a Bess Eaton. We always hang out at the Bess Eaton here so we sat in the parking lot for about a half hour talking about how "cute" their Bess Eaton was, and how OURS was UGLY.. and blah blah blah. We were all gonna take a picture in front of it, but no one had a camera.. oh well..

Now about the "Wishnock" thing I mentioned on my "About Me" page. Do remember that it was about 2:30 in the morning at this point and all 3 of us were just a little crazy. We see this street called "Wishnock" and were sitting there screaming "I live on Wishnock! Do you live on Wishnock?!" with an accent, and yes, we looked really stupid, but it was hilarious at them time. Don't ask..

After all this, we decide to drive back home, which took us about another 2 hours so we ended up back in Meriden at like 4:30 a.m. We stopped at Bess Eaton cuz they open at like 4:00 and they still weren't open! So we watched them get ready to open and everything and then this girl comes to unlock the doors and what do we do? We decide we don't want coffee anymore and leave. We must've looked like the biggest freaks sitting there and watching them open, then leaving. WEIRDOS. Well, I got dropped off at home, and by then it was about 5:30 a.m. and I was about to fall over, so I passed out on my bed fully clothed. At 7:00 a.m. I am shook awake by my freakin' stepfather to tell me I have to baby-sit. I GOT AN HOUR AND A HALF WORTH OF SLEEP!! Yes, I was mad..could ya tell? And that was the end of our "Highway Adventure"
