Deana is one of our daughters. She was born on 5/13/1997 at 26 weeks gestation. She weighed 1 lb. 4 oz. and was only 11 inches long. She is a surviving quadruplet; her brother Justin only lived a week after birth. She has a sister and brother the same age (Jenna and David) and a younger brother Jason.
Deana is a very stubborn, strong willed girl which are excellent traits when facing the challenges of being deaf/hard of hearing. Deana is a smart girl and works very hard.
Deana loves to play basketball and even though she is small in stature she is a fisty player. She has no fear! She is also a very good swimmer (especially the breast stroke) although she doesn't like swimming in the cold or getting up to practice.
