Getting To Know Him
Steve Buscemi was born December 13, 1957 in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Valley Stream. He did not acquire his passion for theatre until he was in his last year of highschool. Before pursuing his strongest interest, he tried his luck at several other jobs...including: driving an icecream truck, stand up comedy and working at the fire department for four years. His big break came along when he stole a lead role in "Parting Glances". Over his years acting he has been in more than 50 movies, and you can find his full filmography on this page.
He currently lives in New York with his wife and his seven year old son [ironically- the name of this font!] and Lucian has already appeared in two of Steve's movies: Trees Lounge and Black Kites.
Expect Buscemi to be putting out more movies from behind the scenes. He has said before that he has lost his strong interest and passion for acting, and it has sparked up in the director's area.
