Immediately before this song begins, Augustin Magaldi is shown in bed with Eva. Eva's mother, the owner of a boarding house/hotel, knocks on the door to wake Magaldi, not knowing that her daughter is in his room, as well. Magaldi gets up, dresses, and after he leaves the scene, the song begins.

Che begins the song, singing of how Magaldi is the first man to be used by Eva. Then the scene changes to that of a nightclub, where Magaldi sings a romantic tango to, seemingly, Eva, about how he never loved before her. This, of course, leads Eva to believe that Magaldi's feelings for her are real, which leads to trouble later.
