Engine Stuff (odds and ends)

Now thats a piston. look at the domes on that thing. WOW! you wana talk about compression.

Here ive taken close ups of the sleve on a .21 engine. notice the ring pressed into the top section of the sleve. This gives the sleve the taper. The sleve is compressed at the top so as the pistion reaches top dead center it hits this taper and makes a tighter seal.

i bought a used picco Turbo .21 engine from a guy and i had the hardest time keeping it running. when i removed the plug and put the glow driver on it it lookked nice and red. It would run good with the driver on the engine but as soon as i puuled the driver off it would die. i finly replaced the $8. plug best $8. i ever spent. i should of figured it out by the look of the plug huh?

I got an extra just in case. im set now

This is the .12 ofna engine my brother has in his nitro RS4. We were having prolems with it. it would run for a few seconds and die, we couldnt figure it out. I thought that it was leaking. i removed the back plate and found an OOOZE! pile. now thats thick. (Odonnel fuel)

This is the O.S. RG-B .21, i was told that when this engine over heats the head changes colors. i have 2 of these engines one is new and one was rebuilt after it had blown up. humm i wonder why it blew? The new one (black) it still a good running engine the (gold) one was once black but was over heated and blew. The gold head was the test engine on most of my engine mods. hey it still runs and runs well.
