Ricky Perdue

Great, lets get started.

Right on, lets do it baby.

Lets start with some simple facts about you. Where and when were you born?

I was born in Harbord, Mass. on April 20, 1974. But I was raised in Augusta, Georgia just outside Atlanta. I also spent the first two years of my life in Japan.

Where did you go to school?

Richmond Academy High and no it was'nt a military school. I graduated in 93.

What are some of your favorite things like colors, food, groups, songs, activities?

My favorite colors are black and red. Pizza and pussy are my favorite things to eat. Ahh Kiss, Motley Crue, Twisted Sister and Aerosmith were my favs in the 80's But now I'd have to say Marilyn Manson and Type O Negative. Rock And Roll All Night by Kiss is my all time favorite song. And as for activities, drumming, dirt bikes, and sex defenitly are at the top of my list. (laughter)

In the previous page, it talked about when you first started out. What is your earliest, favorite memory about that?

(big smile) I once put my base drum on the ground and jumped right through the head from the top of the roof of my parents house and thats when I knew I was going to be a crazy mother fucker!

Did you ever take drumming lessons?

No I taught myself. I use to put on head phones and practice to Kiss and Motley Crue tapes in the garage for hours. Thats how I developed my own tribal, straight ahead rock & roll technique.

When did you decide you wanted to be a drummer or in a band?

I believe no one realy decides what the're going to be. I'ts in their heart or not. And i'ts in my blood, I have no choice.

How did your parents feel about about that and were they supportive?

At first, it got on their nerves. The fact that I wanted to be a rock star scared them. But they finally said "if we cant beat him, lets join him." So now they are really supportive.

What kind of drums & stuff do you use?

I have my own secret drums that I use.

Who are some of your influences?

Well, lets see, Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, Vikki Fox of E-Nuff Z Nuff, Robert Sweet of Stryper and Micheal Foster of Firehouse.

What are some of you favorite Gutterslut songs? And tell us about them.
