This picture, unfortunately, is not as clear as I hoped. The background sky is too bright.
The building in the foreground, just below the Chinook, is a radio bunker of some sort.
Most everything in this area was 'top secret'.
There were rumors (there are always rumors) that there was 'human' radar on the mountain to track movement in the area below the mountain.
Which was a favorite route for the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Up on the right side of the picture, which is fuzzy, is aerials for some sort of radio equipment. At least 7-8 aerials.
